Vincent, Premier Performance
“Vincent,” by Rockland playwright Alva Hascall, will have its premier during the festival. New York actress Sarah MacDonnell will play Vincent, and the DaPonte String Quartet is collaborating on music and will perform as both musicians and actors. The piece is an imagining of what the last hour of Vincent’s life might have been. What were her thoughts, her reminiscences, her dreams? Who did she see, who did she hear? What was her journey? Her destination?
