Production as music-making started in Kingston in the 1960s where roots mixed with tech and set the stage for the next 6 decades of music, from dub to dancehall to hip hop to jungle to reggaeton and more. We'll be listening to all these products of dub, from its beginnings at Studio One and the Black Ark through to modern experimenters in space, bass, and echo.
